We started "Skunk label" in 1997 with our first comp "Ours minds are all the same." We are still true to the scene we created. Our label has nothing to do with the "Skunk records" in America and ours is not a drug reference. We just like the animal. Thank you for visting our site, we're preparing for more albums like the Rux full lenght and the Gum split and the new punk comp. We try to stay original and purly Korean punk. Not that bullshit "Chosin Punk" or any of that cliche shit.

1998 07 : Started the label. 1998 07 : Rux, G.A.S., and Song-ji-wook joined our label. 1998 08 : The first comp "Our minds are all the same" was printed, on tape and only 100 copies. 1999 03 : We registered our label. 1999 04 : The second comp "3000 Punk" came out and we threw a huge show at "Truck". 1999 04 : Vassline, Gum, F.S.H., and more bands joined our label. 1999 05 : We sold our albums to 160 record stores all over Korea. 1999 05 : Gum's first album "Bogus punk cicle" came out and we threw another show at "Truck" 1999 06 : Our studio was robbed, we lost around 5,000$ worth of gear. Fucking lamers. 1999 06 : We launched our site. 1999 07 : Rux 7 song single "I gatta go" came out. We lost our bassist to the army. All Korean males have to go into the army. 1999 09 : Skunk's first video "Bird" was made. 1999 11 : Jong-hee had to go enlist and the movement was halted. 2000 09 : We made our first compilation into CD format. 2002 01 : We came back from the army. 2002 01 : We got our club "Skunk live hell". 2002 05 : Our first live street show.
